Information for Project Principals

Project Principals who have a project in Alabama (new project or expansion of an existing business) who wish ACFI-RC to consider for evaluation and qualification for funding under Regional Center guidelines, should provide the following information:

  • A detailed business plan (Narrative form of business plan will be included in final offering)
  • A realistic number for projected job creation and a timetable
  • Proformas
  • Market analysis
  • A plan, based on proforma information or financial strength of the principals, as to how the funds would be repaid at the end of a 2-5 period
  • Detailed information on the principals/company (including the past three to five-year financial statements)
  • Other due diligence materials
Note: Dependant upon ACFI-RC’s preliminary review of this information, additional data may be required. All information provided to ACFI-RC will be kept confidential.

Once ACFI-RC has done an in-house analysis of the project based on the information provided, ACFI-RC will make a decision as to whether or not the project is pre-qualified.

If our in-house staff determines that the project is pre-qualified, ACFI-RC would then contract a full credit analysis and run various ratios on the financial data provided to make comparisons to industry standards.

Based on the evaluation of the all the information available, various conclusions will be drawn to determine the potential success of the proposed new commercial enterprise or expansion of existing business.

During this same time period, ACFI-RC would present the identical data to one of our two contract economists to prepare an econometric model for further validation of the project's viability, making special emphasis on job creation.
